This session is about preserving your family exactly as you are right now. No pressure for perfect behaviour or forced smiles. Just connection, movement, emotion and all the little in between moments that make your story yours.
And the Algarve, with its warm light, open landscapes and slower rhythm, gives those memories even more space to breathe.

When I found Xavier's site, I sent an inquiry for prices and available dates and his response was lightening fast! When asked what area we were staying in, he quickly suggested a few different areas to take photos, giving me a chance to do some research on which area I liked the best.
Upon arriving in Portugal, Xavier was great at communicating both via email and WhatsApp. His timing for the perfect pictures was precise and he did an amazing job making it the most memorable and realistic experience we could've ever asked for! No pressure. No need for children to sit still or smile at the camera. The session is built around movement, play and connection. You focus on being together, I’ll document the beauty already there.

They don’t need to. Truly. Some children are energetic, others shy, curious or emotional, and all of that is welcome. The session is designed to adapt to your family, not the other way around.

After booking, I’ll send you a Photoshoot Guide with tips on colours, textures and what photographs best naturally. The most important thing is that everyone feels comfortable and like themselves.

We’ll choose the location together based on your family’s personality, the atmosphere you love and the kind of experience you want to have, whether that’s by the sea, surrounded by nature or somewhere quieter and more intimate.

If it’s raining, we’ll try to reschedule, as long as my agenda allows. But cloudy skies can create incredibly soft and beautiful light, so there’s no need to worry if the weather isn’t perfectly sunny.

I don’t believe in limiting memories. You’ll receive a carefully curated online gallery with all the best images from your session edited, in high-resolution and ready to download, share or print.
Most families receive over 70 photos, but the real focus is on giving you everything that matters, not holding anything back.

Of course. If having grandparents or other close family members there feels meaningful to you, they’re more than welcome to be part of the session.
